- 4 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 cup (500 mg) preferred milk (I use almond or coconut)
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 vanilla bean - split and seeded (or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract)
- 1 teaspoon orange zest (I use more)
- For Chocolate version (pictured) - Add 1 Tablespoon cacao or cocoa powder.
- Optional toppings - orange slices, chocolate chips, toasted nuts
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well with a whisk to remove any clumps. Cover and refrigerate 4-6 hours until set.
